According to the study within five years China will become the world's second largest consumer market(调查称中国五年内将成全球第二大消费市场)

The 28 cities from more than 7,000 Chinese consumers to participate in the survey, the Chinese consumer market will be the main driver of future growth of the small urban middle class and wealthy consumers. Specifically refers to allowing for inflation and taxes, the annual net income in the 60,000 to 100,000 yuan of consumer groups.
Person in charge of the report, Boston Consulting Group partner Miss Liao Tianshu pointed out by the rising cost of living with the double whammy of recession, the future of China's middle class and wealthy cities of consumer enthusiasm of consumers and small cities will be far less than similar consumers. In the next 10 years, the total number of Chinese middle class and affluent consumers this year will grow to 1.5 billion people in more than 400 million people, two thirds live in small cities.
